Sun + Moon is lovingly cared for by me, Lindi.

I found my way into birth work through birth photography in September 2017 and my already deepening passion for reproductive justice. Since then, I have continued to document the beauty of birth with my camera and have also completed birth doula training and a training on holding space for people experiencing pregnancy loss. Because I care so deeply about this work, I continue seeking educational opportunities, both formal and self educating, so that I can continue to provide resources and support that is compassionate and evidence based to all people. Though most of my time now is spent on becoming the best doula I can be, my creative nature still loves looking through a lens and capture life and love in all of its ordinary beauty, so I am excited to continue this practice and work as well.

When I’m not attending a birth or behind the camera, I love spending time outside. Camping and hiking are grounding for my soul, but a walk in one of Chicago’s beautiful parks can also do wonders when my heart feels heavy. I find renewal in art and more specifically, watercolor. I love learning about how to live a more healthy life as it relates to food, movement, and homeopathy. My current projects have been making my own kombucha and learning how to eat in sync with my cycle.

I would love to sit down with you over coffee or tea and listen to your story. If you are looking to hire a birth doula or photographer, our first introductory meeting is free with absolutely no strings attached. Please reach out and we can schedule a time.
